Lovely stay with a very nice host. The property is located perfectly between the city centre and attractions, ensuring a peaceful nights sleep.

Bed was a little hard but for the price you can’t complain

Nice place, close to the city center (10 minutes by foot), very clean and hosts super nice! We also appreciated the mosquitos tent.

The family hosts are so kind and welcoming, helped us carry our bags up the hill to reach the house. The homemade breakfast was simple but delicious and homemade: omelette, coconut rotti with curry dhal (typical sri Lankan breakfast), butter and jam, black tea and bananas.

It's a very small room, there's little space to move or place to put your luggage. I guess it's not a big issue if you have only a backpack. We had 1 backpack and a big luggage. It smelled a bit like mold, we were not sure if it was the building conditions or the bed sheets and fabrics on the room (the area is really humid, nothing is ever dry). The accommodation is on a little hill, which is pretty steep to go with the luggage. But this isn't much of a problem. No sound proof - it's in a more or less quiet place so I would say if there isn't any party or something it will not be a problem.
