Nature's Glow Homestay

A truly spectacular location, straight out of a movie. Looking at the very beautiful waterfall while having breakfast or just hanging out on the porch, stunning peacocks casually flying up to the tree and chilling on a branch, all sorts of lovely bird songs... Other than that, the family was quite nice, the breakfast was decent, the room was spacious (with both a king and queen-sized bed, I guess to accommodate families), and far enough away from the commercialized cesspool that is Ella.

The way to the homestay is quite treacherous, tuk tuks charge 800-1000 to and from there, and Pickme doesn't work in Ella. Also, do not rent a scooter from the family, they supplied an absolute dated unit that could barely get me and my gf up the hill. We returned it and rented a proper motorbike downtown, it pays off if you're planning on driving around the highlands.

It's a house in a privileged setting, but the best thing about it is undoubtedly the host's attention. She welcomes you as if you were family and takes care of you throughout your stay. She also provides all the help you need to have a wonderful experience in Ella.

Cold shower. We had dinner and were surprised that it was more expensive than dinner in town. Dinner was nice but not better than in town.

The view from my balcony was gorgeous, the staff were so friendly, and the room was so clean. Everything was perfect. I have been in this country for almost 1 month, and this place was the best hostel!

Priceless views from balcony/room and breakfast location!! Breakfast was delicious and a lot for only one. Room was clean and as pictured, hosts very kind and helping out if in need, definitely recommend!

Water pressure was not perfect, but fine for me. It is a lil walk from town, but as long as you stitch to the railways there‘s no dusty up and down! Nothing that made my stay less worthy tho! Totally enjoyed staying in the peace of nature!
