Lovely location away from the bustle and noise of central Ella but only a 10 minute walk away

The stay was absolutely fantastic. The holiday home is set in the hills of Ella, and the upstair rooms and the dining area offered a scenic Mountain View with Kithala Ella waterfall cascading down the mountain. Though the waterfall was a little away, we could hear it’s sound day and night, like natures music. The rooms were comfortable and had the facilities as viewed in Booking.com. The hostess Shammi and her husband were very caring and cooked us delicious breakfast and dinner. There was hot water to shower which was great. We could see and hear peacocks from our rooms. There were many birds in the area including black hooded orioles, an Indian Paradise flycatcher, many parrots, red vented bul buls and the more common backers and sun birds in the area. One friend was unwell and Shammi prepared us a Samahan, a locally produced tea for colds, which cured her! She also found our driver accommodation in a house next to us. There is ample parking space available

The road to the home stay was narrow and winding, and it was a bit difficult for us to find the place.However Shammi and her husband guided us so we arrived without much trouble.

Very beautiful experience. Great view, great energy of the place, very nice owners, great meals. I travelled with the group and the room upstairs was just freshly built with an amazing view and a great value.

Water pressure was weak, but good enough to take a shower)

Most amazing view from the room I've ever experienced. The host is truly amazing, helped us out a lot and she cooks delicious meals. Location was comfortable. A short walk to city centre, but far enough so you'll be out of the Ella-hectic.

Wifi didn't always perform a 100%, and the shower was sometimes cold during the day.

Wow, this has been our favourite homestay during our month in Sri Lanka. It is 15 minute walk from the centre of Ella but the walk is 100000% worth it! The lovely family cook you a fantastic breakfast that you can eat with the view of the spectacular waterfall, we had peacocks land on the branches outside our room, the bed and pillows were comfy and the shower is the best I’ve had in Sri Lanka, so hot and powerful!

Everything was amazing!
