Sura Homestay Kandy

Made the booking and went to the place. But the place was closed and nobody was there. There was not even a candlelight on the property. I tried to contact the given contact number. It was out of service. I spend there about half an hour trying to contact the owner. Finally, I had to go and find another place at 10.00 pm in the night because of the irresponsibility of the management of this property. Don't choose a place like this for your stay. It will destroy your whole journey.

Nothing. Very irresponsible and unprofessional management.

We arrived at the homestay only to find it abandoned, with no prior notice of their unavailability. This unexpected situation caused significant inconvenience as we were in an unfamiliar town and had to scramble for alternative accommodations. The hotel failed to inform us about their absence, which is unacceptable. Proper communication could have saved us a lot of trouble.

Strategic location, just outside the noisy Kandy! Very welcoming family, they prepared a delicious dinner for us and gave us great tips on how to get around! The owner of the house also found us a driver who drove us all the way to Nuwara Eliya making our journey truly unforgettable!

Nice bedroom, private bathroom. Separate own space, but also able to easily join the family. Rooftop has nice view.

Nice family, the apartment was clean

Super sweet and nice owners and very helpfull. The place is clean which is most important, water is hot, house owners- one of sweetest people in Kandy that I’ve met

Internet could be a little stronger

Good host, good wifi, good hot water, good, ac, good breakfast.

The family were friendly and very very helpful..nothing was too much trouble .Sura had a superb network of local people who are available for tuk tuk rides ,taxi rides etc..sura and his lovely wife could not have been more accomadating .. would stay again
