Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet établissement. La chambre est confortable et bien équipée, la vue est superbe et que dire du petit-déjeuner : excellent ! Merci au propriétaire pour son accueil sympathique ! Un très bel endroit !

The view from the rooms over the mountains is truly beautiful! The owner is very welcoming. The Sri lankan breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The walk to the town is wonderful. A stay I highly recommend. Thank you very much!

Die beiden obersten Zimmer sind am besten, da nur dort beste Aussicht. Die Zimmer darunter schauen auf eine Plattform mit Hängematten. Bequeme Betten, super Frühstück. Auch die Lage ist nur ein paar Minuten vom Zentrum weg an den Bahngleisen entlang. Der Gehweg ist viel näher als der Fahrweg.

Man kann nur mit dem TukTuk dorthin gelangen. Unser Fahrer wollte/konnte mit dem Auto nicht hochfahren.

We had a really memorable stay at Back of Beyond’s Junior Resort. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the setting is truly stunning – a remote, peaceful location where you really feel immersed in nature. The team organised an excellent safari for us in Yala National Park, and our guide was extremely knowledgeable, which made the experience even more special. The tents were cosy and comfortable, and we all slept well, with the fans keeping things cool and a lovely sea breeze coming through. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves was a real highlight, and we weren’t bothered by insects at night. That said, the tents could do with a little maintenance. In both tents our group used, the doors didn’t fully close and there were some small holes in the mosquito nets. It didn’t detract too much from our stay, but it’s something to be aware of. The food was delicious throughout, and the team did a great job accommodating our group’s dietary preferences, including preparing non-spicy options for the children and providing vegetarian choices. Overall, this is a rustic, back-to-nature experience with plenty of charm. A great choice if you’re looking to switch off and enjoy being surrounded by the wild.

First and foremost, Nimal was a fabulous host. The rooms are fresh and modern, the views were breathtaking, breakfast was delish, and the location was a perfect 8 minute walk into the "hustle and bustle" of main street Ella.
