The view to the lake is good

There’s no fan or aircon, so you basically have to sleep with the balcony screen door open—which you share with another room. Everything in the upstairs spaces feels old. We had to share the bathroom and shower with other guests. They had direct access to the shower from their room, but we didn’t. Thank God we arrived earlier and managed to shower first, because later they locked that area from the inside. The room itself is spacious enough, but oh my God—the pillows are so old and uncomfortable. You could get a better one for $5 at Kmart. I wouldn’t stay here again. If you’re trying to save money, it might be worth it, but if you have a bit extra to spend, it’s better to stay somewhere else.

The location. The facilities. The kitchen and living room areas. The backyard. And the room view are stunning.

We encountered a problem when the hot water utility did not work. We did not have hot/warm water for bathing or cooking. But the staff tried to act fast and sent us to another Airbnb facility which also belongs to them so that we could have a bath. While we appreciated the action of the staff and the owner but it was unpleasant that three of us had to drive to another place to have a shower. I hope this is a one-time problem. There are cockroaches in the changing room.

Awesome location and close to city

You get what you pay for. Great location, great price, but the inside of the house is a bit dated. Door handle and the balcony door handle are loosen and just need tightening up the screws. Great voew of the lake from the room, but the balcony door wouldn't shut tight, so if you're a light sleeper, we won't recommend it. We had traffic the whole night, even the ducks t the lake were noisy. The noise of the bedrooms door and squeaky floor means that you will hear overnight when someone is out to toilet/shower. We had a few guests that came back middle of the night, so we could hear their movement. Our bedsheet had black dot stain and other color stains. Didn't take any photo. Luckily we were only there for one night, will reconsider to book again.

This is in a beautiful spot opposite the lake, and the price of the shared accommodation reflects the quality of what to expect.

Unfortunately the place was let down by first impressions n a lot of small but important things- the grass was 2 foot high n garden very unkempt. I burned myself on kitchen tap water it was so hot. Multiple doorknobs were quite loose and the doors squeaked loudly. Our room had no hooks or anywhere to hang stuff including wet towels . Wardrobe in our room was locked. Duvet had large dull stain. Dishwasher didn't work. Cupboard in kitchen had doors made out of cardboard. No milk available. Full length glass panel at bottom of steep internal stairs meet compliance? Road noise was present. Parking available but tight. A little bit of give and take yes, but I don't think this place meets the standard that the location deserves.
