Alex Home Stay

If you’re looking for a truly clean accommodation with a beautiful view, this is the perfect place! Malka was incredibly warm and immediately made us feel welcome. She provided us with information, helped us organize a ride to the train station in the morning, and was always available. There is a fridge, the view is beautiful, and there’s a huge supermarket within walking distance. You can reach the town center in just a few minutes. We can highly recommend this accommodation!

A beautiful home. Although a little way out of the centre of town, this place is nestled in a lovely little neighbourhood with breathtaking views from the balcony. I felt very well looked after during my stay, particularly at the delicious breakfast (a selection of sweets and juices, jackfruit curry, fried eggs, and more!). Everything was perfect. It’s just a short walk to the main high street, where you can catch a bus up to Sigiriya and Polonnaruwa.

We loved our stay! Very short stop in Kandy but that's what we needed. Great view from balcony, complimentary tea in the room, kettle and most important there is normal closed shower cabin! It's a luxury in Sri Lanka. After a month traveling around it's not something you expect 😃 Very welcoming owners. We had problem with tuk tuk but the lady booked one for us from pickme app

That it was only one night!

We liked the host, Malka. She was very helpful, very hospitable. Her breakfasts were delightful. The room was very clean, and there was a kettle... always a bonus. But on top of that, there was also a stove for cooking outside of the room. Views of the town and the birds to be seen from the balcony. Lovely. Very convenient for the town, with a bus nearby, or tuctuc.

We had a great stay! The owners are super lovley and help you with everything 🙏🏻 Good room with terras and a really nice view 👌🏼 great ac and warm water in the bathroom. Everything was super clean! We would definitely recommend it ✨️

We had a wonderful stay at Alex Homestay. The hosts' friendliness made us feel at home from the very first moment. Their kindness in helping us organize taxis and tuktuks was incredible and made our stay much more comfortable. Malka, Alex's wife, offered us laundry service at a reasonable cost, saving us valuable time. This personal touch made our experience even more enjoyable. Additionally, Malka is an excellent cook, and the breakfast was really delicious and abundant. We highly recommend Alex Homestay to anyone looking for an easy stary. a warm welcome and excellent service.
