Very pretty and clean house. The rooms are well equipped , they also have balconies with a great view. We loved rich and tasteful breakfast at a beautifully set table. The owners are sweet and helpful. Thank you Amalka!

KANDY Guest house is located in a quiet area, but not far from the center by bus or tuk-tuk. Spacious room with a nice view from the balcony. Water in the shower with good pressure and hot. Breakfast was very good and varied. The owners are very nice and helpful. They explained to us exactly how to get to all the attractions in the city, recommended a very good restaurant or where to do some shopping. What's more, they put us in touch with their neighbor, who took us by tuk-tuk to all the places we wanted to see around Kandy and at a very attractive price. Highly recommended!

The guest house is on a hill and is in a less known area, which is why we had trouble getting there by taxi/tuk-tuk.

The hosts are absolutely amazing! I asked Alex to give me a tour in Kandy and he really took the time to listen to my requests and explain everything. Also his wife was so friendly and accomodating in all my needs. I loved having a balcony at the room and the coconut pancakes during breakfast <3

Its a bit away from the city Center, but I actually prefered that so it was more quiet compared to the busy center. But thats up for taste

The room was cute and clean with a nice view. The hosts were also super lovely and they provided a delicious breakfast and helpful advice regarding transport. It’s easy to get a bus into town from the home stay.

1. Amazing hosts - so genuine, kind and caring. Went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. 2. Clean and neat room with all basic & required facilities. [Please note you have to climb stairs to the 2nd floor]. 3. Quiet and scenic location. [Please note the road to the homestay is steep and narrow with no parking space]. 4. Excellent homemade & freshly cooked breakfast with local & international items. 5. Hot shower, AC, balcony with a nice view.

Everything! From the moment I checked in to the point when I vacated the room. Malka was very attentive to my every need. She made contact with me the day of checking in and gave me her contact number and directions to Alex Homestay. I arrived later than anticipated due to delayed trains and she waited for me to arrive. She assisted me with my plans whilst I was in Kandy and public transport to my next destination. The room was clean and smelt amazing. The room had a balcony which was lovely, and had great views across the city and of the mountains.
