Afternoon Desire

The location was fine, it's very close to the city center. When I arrived there was a bottle of water and a tea bag on the table as a welcome. The room was big and the old fashioned sofa was really elegant. The bedsheets and towels were clean.

When I entered the room there was a light smell of mold, probably because of the season. I kept the window open during the night, but I didn't manage to change the air enough to remove this smell. The floor was more or less clean, but there were long dark hairs here and there that weren't mine (even thought I would really like to have, since I'm bald). After my working commitments I wanted to visit the hot springs and I asked the host if they provided towels for that. They said that they would have brought one the next day, but that very day, after some exchange of messages, I found that they were expected to bring it during the afternoon in an indefinite time. This misunderstanding wasted me a half day in waiting and it was a little upsetting and disappointing. For business people time is more relevant than money. It's not a problem if they weren't able to provide the towel early in the morning, but if I would have known in advance the timing of the service I would have purchased a towel by myself. This imprecision about the timing of the service was quite relevant for me. I finally purchased a new towel in a local mall, and left it to the host. My suggestion, since the hot springs are one of the most relevant attraction of the island, is to provide a towel for the hot spring as a default service.

The house is not sound proof. Also the kitchen had everything but a stove which was weird as it completely defeated the purpose of having a kitchen

We probably got the room with the best wifi. The room was huge and cozy, we got our own toilet, had a fridge and cooking possibilities, everything went smoothly. I can not even begin to tell you how beautiful the island is. We were very lucky to book this room! We truly felt at home

It is really hard to think of a thing we did not like but a short warning for travelers: bring enough clothes as washing is never an option. The humidity is to high, your clothes will never dry!

Very good placement near everything. The room was nice and big. Lovely kitchen and facilities in generel. Wifi connection also good.

The locks where very old and I had trouble in the beginning to get the keys to fit to either lock and unlock.
