A clean and nice place. The shower with good pressure and heat. Really nice family taking care of us when we needed. Nice breakfast with the best of fruits and adjusted for our wishes. Ac comfortable with cooling and noice. a calm place just within a short walkingdistance to the beach. They had a cooperation with the nearby restaurant witch gave us a discount. A really tasteful dinner!

the bed is quite hard, but we really slept well!

We liked the fruit platter served for breakfast. There was a common kitchen and sitting room area. The room had a cupboard, hangers and a drying rack.

Not sure why there are so many good reviews and the ones complaining have been replied to saying it must be for the wrong place-most definitely is not. We had cockroaches in our room, holes in the mosquito net, the mini fridge was rusted over and the place felt dirty (also given dirty used soap). The communal kitchen area was filthy. When we checked out we told them we had found cockroaches and the woman just laughed at us and then just said bye and ushered us out. I repeated it a few times to make sure she understood what we were saying, also informed them of the holes in the net so that for the next people staying this could be sorted and again she laughed. We saw previous reviews saying there was a problem with cockroaches so they obviously aren’t sorting it out especially when they just laugh at it. We’ve spent a month in Sri Lanka and stayed in amazing home stays that are no where near the price of this and have been so much better quality. Defo would not recommend.

I am very very sorry to write this, but it is important for next guests to let you know, cause hope this will be helpful to the owner to do something about it. I spent only one night, and the nice couple have been very very nice, welcoming and gentle. But my room and bathroom were full of big coachroaches, so i couldn t sleep almost at all, as i was expecting them coming into to bed every single moment. I called the lady which helped me to kill them, we killed 5 at night, and in the morning i found another one next to my bed. Beside, i got bed bugs bitten me all over my body, which never happened to me in 3 weeks. So honestly my personal experience has been terrible, cause now my body is covered of bites which will last weeks. I ve been around many guesthouses, and i can compare. For the price you pay this place should be way cleaner than how it is, or way cheaper if it keeps being like that. Then, breakfast ok, simple and good, and location nearby the beach, 5 min walking.

The hygiene if the room must improve. It is bad to host guests when they know its full of cockroaches in the room and bathroom. It is disgusting.

Nice place, very quiet and also close to bus/train, beach and restaurants. Very friendly hosts! Really nothing to complain👍

Seriously, you cannot do much better than here for the price. Owned by the kindest, most wonderful couple that really care about you. Not a party place however but the tranquility coupled with morning birdsong is exquisite. I cannot wax eloquent enough about this place. Location is excellent to beach. A living room. Huge deck. A working kitchen….it has it all. Breakfast is amazing. I would return in a heartbeat here.

Wish I could have stayed longer!

Great location, easy quick walk to beach. Room was spacious clean and comfortable. Had a common sitting area inside an out which was great to relax. Kitchen facility with a fridge was also great Breakfast was very nice and the hosts were great and helpful with anything. I would recommend staying here, a great place to stop. Thanks

The owners were very nice people. Very clean. Tasty big breakfast including coffee and fruit. Close to the beach where you can rent bed and parasol. Very quiet place where you can listen to the birds and relax.
