Our wonderful hosts, Amir and Parisa made sure our stay was comfortable and we were welcomed into their beautiful accommodation which is a private part of their home. We could come and go as we pleased and had our own key to lock our room while we were away. Even though we shared a bathroom/toilet this was not an issue because it was right beside our room. Parisa allowed us to use the washing machine. The bus stop is a short walk from the accommodation in the next street and we were able to travel into the city centre for $4 on the buses. We will certainly we staying with Amir and Parisa when we visit Christchurch next time. Thank you for accommodating us.

Lovely room with amazing views to the garden. Tidy and clean, include the shared bathroom. Quiet neighborhood. Thanks to the owner because she let me leave my luggage already into my room before the check-in time.

There was no breakfast

This was a difficult stay for me - The room was comfortable but I am 70 and the other guest was a man whom I had to share a bathroom with and his room was right next to mine. She did not mention this when I checked in. I would have been better prepared.

The room was very clean, the bed was very comfy, and it was great to have use of a mini kitchen! There was a heated blanket and small floor heater in our room. We were able to park our campervan out front so we could pack up for a flight. We were even able to do a load of laundry. Parisa is a sweetheart and I enjoyed chatting with her. Otherwise we had full privacy in the downstairs because no one was in the other room.
