4ty two Homestay Galle

Very friendly people! This place is a 20 mins walk from the fort and is situated in a quiet, village-like area. The room was very comfy with a good bed and an efficient and quiet AC.

I had a lovely stay at 4ty two Homestay ! We spent one night in the budget double room which didn’t feel ‘budget’ at all and was super comfortable with a massive bed, AC and a ceiling fan and a balcony. There is no en suite but a bathroom one floor down to use. The hosts were so friendly and willing to help with everything and they even helped us organise the bus trip to the airport for no extra charge. The location is great about 10/15 minute walk to the train or bus station and to the Fort. Can’t recommend enough !!

Very friendly host with very nice room and breakfast

Nice, clean and quite guesthouse. The owners are very kind and helpful in providing information and support. The guesthouse is only 15 minutes walking from the fort. Highly recommended also for exploring the surroundings of Galle! I hope to come back!

The family that runs the homestay is really nice! They helped us with everything and were very kind. Our room was also very good and clean. Location is a little bit far from the fort if you have to walk but very easy to reach with cheap tuktuk rides

Really good location, close to the railway and bus station, and 15 minutes walk to the fort. Very friendly hosts. Comfortable bed.

Not a negative, but the location that booking.com shows you is slightly wrong, it's about 150m further on, by the canal. The property is shown on Google maps so you could look at that

The room was spacious and clean. The owners were very nice. I also liked the terrace/balcony were you can chill out in the shade. Thank you!

I had a budget room. The bathroom was private but not connected with the room, it was actually on the ground floor (while the room was on the first floor). It was ok, I just didn't understand this while booking, maybe it could be described better.. A moskyto net would be nice.
