Clean room, quiet location, useful shared kitchen

Slight damp smell in the room, needed ventilation, kitchen was shared between two rooms but located far from ours

The location was close to the train station

The room had an odd ledge above the bed so I ended up hitting my head. I also left my luggage the day I was leaving, but when I came to pick it up, nobody was in the office so I had to call the cleaning ladies to help me. They also didn't check it the luggage I took was really mine which is concerning if someone wanted to steal.

We stayed for three nights in a family room for 4 people, everything was thought out to the smallest detail, we did not have to worry about anything. The room is large with a terrace, everything is clean, all the utensils are available. The kitchen is shared between two rooms, equipped with everything you need.

The staff doesn't speak English at all It's not easy to find the exact location because all the signs are in Polish language only. There was no internet access for more than 2 days.

Location is close to the City Centre and yet far enough so that it doesn't feel crowded with people. The property is located on the grounds of the District Prosecutor's Office. That said, don't expect a beautiful rustic villa but rather a proof that nowadays almost literally every service in Zakopane offers vacation rooms for tourists. To that point, there is a train station and a bus station in a very close distance. Moreover, the room has a separate toilet, a small fridge in the room, as well as a TV (which we didn't in fact use during out stay). The property is also equipped with a stable Wi-Fi signal which was crucial to me as I had to work remotely for some time during my stay. If you're planning to look for a cheap option only to spend the night, don't hesitate.

Unfortunately, there is no cleaning service. We stayed at the property for a few nights and only after our departure was the room taken care of. Moreover, the cleanliness leaves a lot of room for improvement, especially in the bathroom. The radiator didn't work until the very last day which was not ideal considering the snowy/rainy weather we experienced. The walls are not soundproof to the point where I was able to clearly hear a conversation between two people from the next room. Also keep in mind that the room is very small. It should be suitable for a single occupant or a couple, but not for a small family with a child. As I mentioned in the previous paragraph, if you're looking for a cheap place to spend the night, go for it. However, if you want to be pampered a little during your stay and have a true highland experience, this property is definitely not for you.

The staff does not speak English at all, quite rude and not helpful. During the weekends there are no anyone from the staff in the hotel, so if you will have any problems no one will be able to help. Personally, I forgot one important stuff in the room, and after the check out time I wanted to return to take my stuff, and I messaged the host to ask them to help me, but they didn’t even answer my message and I couldn’t enter the building. So be smart and don’t leave the keys in the box. Ant there is no hairdryer in the room.
