Alojamiento Ya'ax Nah

Rodrigo has to be the friendliest host in Mexico. The place is very clean and there is a fridge, kitchen and drinking water you can use. Also in a perfect location to visit the beach and quiet at night. There are a lot of small restaurants close by, which were nicer and a lot cheaper than in the center. We felt very welcome, thank you for everything!

The owner was very kind, spoke good English and gave me some good recommendations. The beds were clean and comfortable. There was a shared fridge and kitchen area, drinkable water and coffee. There was hot water in the shower, but it took quite long before it started. There was nice public beach near the property.

There were some spiders and spider webs on the walls of my room. It was a bit far from the center and from the ADO station. There was only a small window in my room and not much daylight. One night I was waken up at 3AM because some guests just arrived and were talking in the hall. There was almost no sound isolation between the room and the hall, so I could hear everything.

Very authentic experience of staying with Mexican family. You find all you need: comfy bed, clean bathroom, kitchen, coffee station, nice decor and big smile from the owner! Only 10 mns walk to beautiful beach in very quiet and chill zone.

We stayed 3 nights at this nice hostal and loved it so much! The owner was so nice and helpful, he made us feel at home immediately. The rooms are very clean, the shower is good, the airco was nice and there's coffee in the morning: everything we needed! Its a little out of the centre but really cheap and easy to go there walking or with a collectivo. We'd definitely stay here again!

The host Rodrigo was very welcoming and a great guy who was always up for a chat, he even offered to cook dinner one night. The location was in a quiet part of Playa del carmen with great proximity to a nice beach.

If your are looking for a safe, clean and affordable place in authentic Playa del Carmen, don't look any further, this is the place to bee. Rodrigo is an adorable host and his "green house" Ya`ax Nah is about 3 -4 km away from the busy center. You can walk to the public beach 88 and it is very easy and cheap to reach by public transport. Just walk from the ADO Bus Station to AV 30 and take the bus or collectivo to the North. It was our best place to live for four nights in Yucatan and we hope we will be back soon.

The property was very close to a fantastic beach.

The bed was a little harder than I’m used to. Also, it is a 35 to 45 minute walk into town but it is a nice pedestrian walkway.
