Hallelujah

It's a hostel-like place, in a traditional Japanese house, not many rooms and an equipped kitchen. The room was huge. We could use the kitchen, coffee is free, and some basic staples (cup ramen etc) are available at a very little cost.

It was far away from anything, but we were by car and there is parking, so not important for us.

The room was clean & beds were comfy. Staff was nice. Greetings on the day of leaving was very warm.

Everythings is great! It's literally Japanese house. Bed comfy, nearby restaurant and train station. I borrow her bike to explore the town in during day and it was amazing route. Good for take a break from the city.

Nothing for me all good

The host, Yoko, is the best. She is such a relaxed and funny person and made me feel so at home. The room was amazingly beautiful, it was a real traditional Japanese tatami room like how you’d imagine a traditional Japanese house to be. I got to try many new flavors of food and the station, hospital, supermarkets, good places to eat (try Tanayaka for really good and authentic noodles) and mountains are all close by. And the traditional bath and shower are a great and very clean place to relax after a long hike. Bonus: you can climb a mountain from where you can see all over Tokyo if the weather is good. If you want to quickly get out of Tokyo for a few days to unwind and relax, this is the perfect place.
