The host kindly let us store our heavy bags after check out. The bedroom had a private bathroom.

The booking.com advert is very misleading. It promised a kitchen, large tv, washing machine and relaxing space. None of these things were available to us. They were only allowed to be used by the host. The host also lives in the property in the room next to ours so there is zero privacy. This was not mentioned in the advert on booking.com. We feel like this was very misleading.

We had chosen the property for its proximity to centre of town and because of the facilities (living room, kitchen, varanda etc) indicated.

The description of the property does not in any way indicate shared accommodations, however upon arrival, we were informed that only the room was private. The owner lives in the apartment. The landlord was not cooperative in providing reimbursement for this issue and was insistent that it did describe it as a shared accommodation. I have screenshots of the description put on booking.com and it does not say shared living, kitchen, varanda etc. and it doesn’t not indicate that the owners would be living there at the same time. She could’ve issued a reimbursement or at very least helped to recuperate our loss by attempting to rent out the property again.

When I booked the room, it showed photos of the kitchen, dining area and living area assuming that was part of the stay. I was disappointed to find out that kitchen facility is not part of the accommodations. I felt that the advertising for the room was misleading.
