The experience has exceeded our expectations. The hosts were friendly and welcoming and ensured that we were comfortable throughout our stay. The food was amazing, the tastiest we had in a long time. The atmosphere of the place is truly special, and you have to experience it to really understand the beauty of this place.

There is nothing we didn't like. Everything was perfect, from the food, to the hosts, to the atmosphere. Top noch!

Such a lovely garden and view, we spent a lot of time hanging out - playing games and the teenage boys playing football and just hanging out. Perfect hosts, private and yet available and so accommodating. The most relaxing beginnng of a holiday imaginable. Hugely recommended ⭐️⭐️

We loved the house that we booked, the hospitality and the food. The whole atmosphere exceeded our expectations. A perfect location for a weekend getaway and we enjoyed it a lot.

The rooms were clean and hosts took great care and pride in providing the best service. The family dogs, Bella and Bella (mother and daughter), were adorable and gave us lots of fun. Highly recommend ordering breakfast (30 Lei) and dinner (60) ahead of time. The chicken noodle soup on dinner menu was mindblowing. Compared to restaurant dishes, the home cooked meals are not as salty. They provide huge amount of food for us and we had to tell the hosts to serve less and minimize waste. Owners' son spoke English and responded quickly in messages. Overall, very pleasant experience and our stay there for three nights was the highlight of our 2-week-long Romanian trip.

Staying here was a highlight in a month of summer vacation - the building is in the traditional style so it was a bit like staying in a museum; except you have modern beds, showers with plenty of hot water, a fridge, simple cooking and excellent wifi. Sheep, 2 friendly sheep dogs and a pony ambled outside in the meadow and you could sit on the balcony and birdwatch or lie in a hammock and read a book...it's a blissfull place to spend a summer week doing not much other than relaxing! If you have children, then there's plenty to do within 100m - It's a real farm, so meeting the new born calf was a highlight! We had dinner there each night - which was wonderful; many thanks! The hosts gave us lots of tips that were not on maps or in the guidebooks - so we had a wonderful week in Maramures; near everything you want to see is within an hour's drive of the place. The town is a good place to stay - there are lots of traditional houses and churches, the village shop/pub is a handy place to visit, everyone was welcoming - and the ride around the vilage on the farm cart was a bonus! There is plenty of room to park a car, and lots of balcony space for bikes.

Nothing - we loved it all ! Just be prepared to do lots of exercise each day to justify the lovely food at dinner !!

We had a few most enjoyable days at Casuta Gradina. We love the peaceful and beautiful surrounding and with a rustic atmosphere. There are lovely dogs, pony and sheep walking around. The host Vase is a kind and accommendating young man and speaks good English. His mother Maria prepared us amazing local dishes with most ingredients grown and made by themselves at very reasonable price. All rooms are very cleaned and with comfortable beds and large bathrooms. There are many sitting areas in the garden as well. We were there at high of summer but felt cool and comfortable at night. In addition, the village Breb is a great place to stay for a few days if you want to experience the rural culture and life in Maramures. We would highly recommend this place!

This property (3 bedroom farmhouse) was beautiful and peaceful and the hosts were so gracious. We stayed in late June, but it was not too hot even without air-conditioning. From here we could take short hikes and drives that let us experience the area and appreciate its beauty. The beds were comfortable, the terrace was perfect for meals, and there was plenty of hot water and pressure in the showers. Good internet as well. We had the option to order dinner and breakfast and we are so happy we did both! Authentic and DELICIOUS food at every meal, served in your accommodation or on the terrace. Excellent experience—highly recommend!
