This stay was an absolute dream come true! Nestled in a charming Romanian village, the traditional house I stayed in offered a complete immersion into nature and local culture. Everything, from the breathtaking surroundings to the delicious homemade food and incredibly warm hospitality, exceeded my expectations. The village itself was idyllic. Tucked away amidst rolling hills and lush greenery, it offered a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The fresh air, stunning scenery, and tranquility of the location were some of the highlights of my trip. The traditional house was a delight. Staying in a historical dwelling added a unique charm to the experience. It was comfortable and well-maintained, perfectly capturing the essence of Romanian village life. The traditional meals prepared by the hosts were some of the best I've ever had. They used fresh, local ingredients to create delicious and authentic dishes. It felt like a home-cooked meal made with love, and it truly added to the warmth and hospitality of the stay. The hosts were simply amazing! They went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Their genuine kindness and attentiveness made me feel incredibly welcome. They were also a wealth of knowledge about the local area and shared fascinating stories about the village's history and traditions. This stay was an unforgettable experience. It offered a perfect blend of cultural immersion, breathtaking nature, and exceptional hospitality. It exceeded our expectations! You cannot get better. All of us enjoyed very much the three day stay. The hosts are very nice people and we had interesting discussions. The food served at the 'Căsuța', authentic maramureșean food, was very good and we got big portions. Short driving distances to Bârsana, Săpânța and other interesting places to see. Overal a 10 of 10.
