The owner is friendly and even though her English is minimal, we made it work. She speaks some German. I was offered both Turkish coffee and cake upon arrival. The view from the deck is amazing and the coastline along the Danube is fantastic and very close.

I must say that I was disappointed overall. The place didn't seem adequately clean. Maybe it is because of the season, but when I went (late September) there were a lot of quite large insects all over. I can understand that the guesthouse cannot remove them from the the outside deck, but they should have made a greater attempt to clear the room before I checked in. I had to hunt down 35-40 of these damn critters before I was able to take a shower and go to bed without worrying whether or not one was going to land on my face in my sleep. They were everywhere, in the lamp, behind the shower doors, in my towel, etc. Further, a couple of cobwebs in higher places. Some of their dogs are aggressive and seem totally untrained. They did not come when called by the owner, nor cease barking. And they barked a lot. One night, they were barking so loud and continuously that I awoke several times and eventually had to get out of bed, exit my room and scare it off. One of them actually bit me so it drew blood, so I would be on guard especially if you're bringing small children. The driveway is situated on the top of a hill and the gate is quite small, so either if you are backing out or backing down into the spot, it is difficult, especially when there are dogs barking aggressively whilst you are trying to concentrate. Maybe people with more zen than me will have a different experience, but I really didn't find the calm and relaxation I was hoping for.

Very clean and cosy room, beautiful view from the terrace. Nice location, the owner is such a friendly person, definitely worth the money.

The view of our room was amazing over the Donau. Host was more than friendly, she received us like part of extended family. In the morning we ordered breakfast that was served with the family.

The stunning view from the terrace is the good reason to stay here. The room was ok, just keep in mind the bathroom is in the house, not in the room. But it is comfy and very clean.

The cigarette smell in the house was a bit unpleasant.

Poor equipment with no standalone bathroom as requested. Common facilities. It needs to be renewed.

The apartment is on the first floor of the hosts house and consists of a terrace with separate entrances for two bedrooms and a bathroom. The room was cute, hand painted furniture, decorated to feel homey. Terrace view is amazing (sunset over danube). Bathroom was renovated compared to the pictures on Booking, looks way better. There is a new shower instead of the tub and it is very spacious. The host lady is nice, gave us homemade juice and talked to us a bit. Location is on the hill above the city center, so I recommend it if you have a car. We had a short stay, but we loved it.

Bathroom is connected directly to one of the rooms, so if there are 4 of you, then the people in the other room must go outside to the terrace to access the bathroom. This is no issue in the summer in my opinion, but may be in the winter. Also, there are two of the host's dogs on the property, have this in mind of you have issues with that.
