Gajanovic Rooms

The main feature we liked the most is the view from the balcony to the Danube. It's fabulous and when we arrived the most magnificent sunset was greeting us from this terrace. The room was clean and there was enough space. The bathroom is also spacious and clean enough. We enjoyed the boat ride that our host helped us arrange as well as the homemade bread she offered.

The room is part of the house that the host and her family lives in. The major issue was that in the room we stayed there was one door leading to the balcony and another door leading to the rest of the house. That inner door had a broken lock and it couldn't even shut properly. I really didn't like how our room was accordingly constantly open and how limited our privacy was. The smallish balcony was shared with the room next to us. We were extremely lucky to have great neighbours and we enjoyed two lovely evenings with them in the common terrace, but it's a matter of pure luck who your neighbour is going to be. You can listen to most of the house's sounds and you realise that you can also be heard all over the house. Another blow in the sense of privacy. The bathroom of our room was outside of the room- we had to get out from the broken door and move to the end of a little corridor. If you are not fond of dogs, maybe reconsider, because the family has a few dogs in, out and around the house that bark to the strangers-guests. Outside of our bathroom a few times one of the dogs was chilling and he wasn't very fond of allowing us to enter the bathroom, he was barking and barking. We were reassured that they don't bite, but for the first time in my life I didn't feel relaxed around house dogs and that was a bummer. For a place with the above issues the price of 30€ per night wasn't the bargain we had thought it would be when we booked it.

Owner's angry barking dogs, dirty fridge, dirty dishes. We should have stay for three nights but left after first one

The host was incredibly welcoming! She couldn't speak very good english but we managed to communicate. Be careful of the dogs if you are driving to the area, there was the sweetest puppy running around.The view is stunning and close to the national park. Highly recommended!

Takeaway pizza with a bottle of wine and the most spectacular view we've had on our trip so far. Smallish but perfectly adequate bedroom, good size bathroom and an excellent balcony.

Not easy to find. We were lucky to find a friendly local who led us to the property. How about providing GPS coordinates?
