Enjoy Braga Estação - Charming Bedrooms in the Historic Center

Staff was helpful - allowed me to check-in early, and also came to my rescue when I was locked in the toilet due to a faulty lock (although there was a major language barrier, we could not communicate in English and a guy only came to help me 20 min after I called them, without informing me he would be coming).

Very mouldy and musty and dirty… one of the toilet had non-existent lighting. Locks were not working well on the toilets. Toilet seat was broken and falls off, no hand-soap in the toilet at all. Toilet paper always ran out every day. I know this is a budget room so I have already adjusted my standards, but this is way below my expectations.

Very good relation cost/quality.

Some people smoking in their rooms, but the smell is in the commons spaces, too.

the location of the site is excellent

The lock of the room and the bathroom are detached and fall from the door, the window curtain did not work, in general the place lacks a lot of maintenance, There are few utensils in the kitchen and they are in poor condition. I hope these comments are to improve because the location is excellent

We received check in instructions from the host which they ended by saying "contact us for any issues". As soon as we checked in, we let them know that the heater in the room wasn't working and that (as it was 4pm and we were already feeling cold) we would be cold at night and asked if there were more blankets or if the heater could be fixed. We did not get any response from them, even though we were staying for 2 nights! We were very cold both nights and had to wear extra clothes to be able to sleep. The mattress was also incredibly uncomfortable. The blanket that we were given was scratchy and looked to be questionably clean, and there was no top sheet or anything to put between us and the blanket. The towels had stains on them and did not seem clean either. It also appears to be a long term rental property and some of the other guests seemed to know each other, and were very loud at all times of the day, and made absolutely no effort to even greet us at all. It says it is a non smoking property, however, another guest must've been smoking as the hallway stank of smoke in the evenings.

Private room for a good price

The walls were a weird color in the bathroom, things looks dirty but actually kinda clean. It’s an old place and the price is cheap

Very run down and not clean. I suppose you get what you pay for, but it doesn't cost much to give it a good clean. Bathroom ceiling and walls had black water marks all over them, fridge was gross, bedding and towels did not look or smell fresh, toilet seat was broken in the bathroom, lock was broken on the toiket door and plug socket in room was hanging out of the wall.
