For me, traveling alone by car, this was a perfect location in a lovely, well-designed neighbourhood of low-rise houses not too far from the historical centre, with residential parking in front. There's a bus #34 around the corner that gets you to town. If you're a walker, another option is to walk 'back home' from downtown along the river and its linear parks; it's no more than 40 minutes. There's also a large shopping centre with a mega-food store nearby (a 10 minute walk downhill); the Casa das Tilias has a fully equipped kitchen so you can cook for yourself. This place has everything I need for my travel style: I spend the whole day in the historical city centre, so all I need is a quiet little room with a comfortable bed and shared kitchen and shower facilities at a good price.

What's not to like?

I couldn't find the key for my room because the previous customer misplaced it

Privacy. Cleanliness. Solitude. Solace. A good laundry place nearby and a good cafe. 10 mins walk to stadium. 2-3 mins walk to buses. In a very quite residential area. Very safe.
