Backpackers' Hostel Taoyuan Airport

Room was nice and had private bathroom as stated. There is free water.

The location of our room was different to where the hostel is located at. We waited 20 minutes for the checkin as the receptionist left to get food during open hours of reception and then additional 10 minutes for the driver to take us to a different location 1km away. In total 45 minutes from when we got to the hostel. The second accomodation is more remote and there isn't no shop nearby. It was just confusing and the location wasn't really right at the airport as we imagined. It was same price per night as we paid in center of Taipei so I expected it to be closer and easier from the airport.

Close to airport. Private room with toilet air con. Coffee making and fresh water available. Lounge seating available.

The bed was too hard for me.

It’s very close to the airport, and the single room has all the necessary facilities. Bed is ok, I could sleep well.

I stayed in the single suite in a different location than the hostel. In the morning nobody was there as there’s no reception there, and I had big troubles in finding a taxi. Also, the room could be more clean.

Tout était très correcte le seul soucis était qu’il n’y avait pas de rideaux aux lits.

碰到雨前的天氣，裡面挺多飛蟲的很討厭，但這不是民宿的原因，是天候。

The property was adequate. It was clean and comfortable enough with most things I needed and a decent sized room.

I booked close to the airport, thinking that would be more convenient than travelling into Taipei at 10pm. The hostel sent me a message over booking.com asking if I wanted to be picked up. I said yes and told them when I expected to arrive. They told me to call when I was ready but no one picked up the phone. In the end I had to find a taxi from the train station they’d told me to travel to. That was not so easy. When I got there, they took me by car to my rooms even further away, so getting to Taipei the next day wasn’t easy. It would have been better to catch the MRT straight to Taipei main station and stay near there. Also no coffee machine anywhere and no cafes open early nearby.
