Nhà Cổ Lao Xa Homestay Hmong & Bungalow hot air-conditioning

We had the bungalow, which was super nice and a beautiful view. The food was also very good. However, we stayed at more authentic Homestays. It felt more like a show for us. They played music for us and played a recording that explained the instruments etc.

Absolutely perfect! it’s the second time we come to this homestay and it is still an amazing experience. Hong and his family are lovely, very welcoming. The village itself is such a gem and you will sleep and eat in a traditional Hmong house. It’s beautiful to see how Hong is proud of its beautiful culture and wants to share it with his guests. The dinner was delicious, the bed very comfy, and everything was clean. This homestay is a home that you can’t miss if you want to discover the real Hmong culture and have an experience to remember for a lifetime. Thank you for everything !

Everything was great. My one issue is only that these places are called homestays and I sometimes get the wrong impression, the idea that I will be there with the family only and having an experience of being in their home. It is more like a Guesthouse with 15 or so young people there on a tour and staying in a dorm. The host was very nice but I did not really get to meet anybody else in his family. The food was good, The Bungalow I stayed in was very very nice. The Village the Homestay is in is attractive and intriguing for someone from a Western Country like myself

Amazing location, very authentic and off the beaten path. Cozy family feeling. Delicious and rich dinner. Helpful owner.

Cold af in winter, had to use 4 blankets. Cleanliness could be improved.
