"Beautiful view, friendly and attentive manager"

I like coming back to Shells on the Beach, for the view, which is just amazing, the peacefulness and the opportunity to relax and recharge. Even though my stay was a bit disruptive I still enjoyed the peacefulness of the waves crashing on the shore.

The owners are busy with renovations, which was a bit noisy and disruptive. I would not have booked there had I been aware of the renovations. Saying that, the place will be even more stunning once everything is done

Lovely looking place with a great view. Host is friendly.

The place had a smell. The place is awkwardly positioned which meant people are literally right outside my bedroom and living room window. Zero privacy. Construction workers and other guests just casually walking onto my balcony and smoking. Also the place is quite cold and there are dead bugs and lizards in the cupboards which meant we didn't feel comfortable unpacking.

"Perfect weekend getaway for our little family."

View of the beach was exceptional. Pet friendly, right on the beach, quiet and cosy. Felt very homey and the kitchen was stocked with everything you needed to cook, even an air fryer. Wood was supplied for a braai. Great value for money. Because of the renovations, the host provided us with a bottle of rosè which was a nice touch.

Very little coffee/tea/sugar and milk supplied . Salt and pepper containers present but empty, some of the glasses were cracked. Shower was a little dirty and the towels supplied were not great. Parking space was out on street.

"Beautiful, pet friendly beachfront apartment, right on the beach!"

The location of this beautiful apartment is unmatched, as the beach is practically your backyard. It's spacious, clean and modern and is a lovely place to unwind and reconnect with nature. We especially loved the deck, it gave us some extra space for our dog. The staff, especially the manager, Elsabe, definitely went the extra mile to make sure we had a good stay. We will definitely recommend this apartment.

Ceiling fans, a stove and a TV would be good additions to this apartment. Having said that, there is a small two plate stove which works well. There is still renovations going on here, and I am sure that once completed, this apartment will be worth 10 out of 10.
