Sharad Baug homestay

It is a very pleasant homestay within a vast palace property. So you have history, greenery, birds and calmness…all in the middle of Bhuj. Lovely hosts and very comfortable stay.

The house is inside a garden in the middle of an orchard near the center of town. The rooms are nice and comfortable. The hosts are pleasant, and the food is very tasty. Highly recommend!

Sharad baug homestay is a charming place within the palace grounds. It's at an excellent location close to all the sightseeing places but still away from the crowds of the city. The rooms are spacious and clean with that old-world charm. The highlights of our stay were the hosts and the food. The hosts really put the 'home' in the homestay. They made us feel extremely comfortable with their warmth and hospitality. Even the supporting staff were so accommodating and courteous. Now about the food. Whatever I say will not do justice to the food. Cooked with fresh ingredients with just the perfect flavour and spice, we used to look forward to every meal whether it was breakfast or dinner. The menu was never the same with something special being there every day. We always looked forward to what we would get. If we ever are in Bhuj again we will definitely stay at Sharad Baug Homestay.

The property is located in a beautiful setting surrounded by farmland and very close the the old Palace and museum. The room was spacious and comfortable. The family who run the property speak English and they and the other staff were very helpful and pleasant. The breakfast and dinners were superb, different each day, local produce.

Nothing, thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

The staff, the food , spacious rooms and bathroom, peacefulness and pretty environment of plants and trees.

There was nothing I didn’t like.
