Cozy Resort Ella

Plusy przeważają: przemiła i uśmiechnięta obsługa, komfortowy pokój z przestronnym i prywatnym balkonem z widokiem na Ella Rock, urozmaicone i smaczne śniadania, byliśmy również na kolacji, była wyśmienita:) lokalizacja 30 min spacerem wzdłuż torów do centrum Elli, a do stacji kolejowej 3 min. Polecam!

Ein tolles Hotel in sensationeller Lage mitten in der Natur. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön, groß und mit freiem Blick ins Tal. Das Highlight ist die tolle Terasse. Alles sehr sauber, perfekt für uns als Familie. Viraj und sein tolles Team sind sehr freundlich, herzlich und hilfsbereit. Wir bekamen ein leckeres Frühstück auf der schönen Terrasse, sogar Extrawünsche wurden frisch zubereitet. Viraj hat uns Roller und Weitertransport zu fairen Preisen organisiert. Die Lage ist ein ganzes Stück weg von Ella, man braucht Roller oder Tuktuk, dafür aber herrlich ruhig und mit Affenbesuch.

If I could give this place 20 stars I would. Perfect location with amazing views (200m from the Ella Rock trail head), most amazing, kind, helpful staff I have ever met so far on my travels! Delicious breakfast, fresh water in your room daily, all the local tips. Highly recommend!

Great location if you want peace and fantastic views.. Easy walk to Ella alongside the railway which was 5 mins walk away. Loved the room and the outside patio. View was breathtaking Completely surrounded by nature Lovely staff and very good breakfast . Ticked every box.

The time I was there ..wish I could have stopped longer

Loved the peace and quiet. The view is exquisite from the bed you could view the whole balcony waking up to nature.

The AC in the room didn't work so we did wake up few times in the night due to feeling warm.

Cozy Cottage was definitely our best choice. We were shocked how busy and overcrowded Ella is but Cozy Cottage is not directly in the center of Ella which was a relief for us. From Ella, if you go by car/tukuk, take the first steep road on the left, after the tunnel, which goes up to mountain. The hotel itself is wonderful and the room was the biggest we ever had in Sri Lanka. Awesome view to the railway tracks and mountains. We didn't expect such a high building which was very stunning. What a great construction! There is lots of things to do nearby. You can walk on the railway tracks and visit a waterfall and restaurants nearby (f.e. River Face restaurant). Just keep in mind that locals might show up at the railway tracks to guide you but dont be afraid most of them are very friendly, so please prepare a little tip for them. All in all, it was very peaceful, we loved it so much. Hotel staff was always available and really caring. The service was five stars. Highly recommend !!

Das Zimmer war groß, sehr schön & die Aussicht war eine 10/10. Das Personal war super aufmerksam, wir würden jederzeit wieder hier her kommen. Ich würde immer einen Roller mieten, da ansonsten der Weg nach Ella (ca. 15min.) immer mit dem Tuktuk gefahren werden muss.

Man hört den vorbeifahrende Zug morgens früh, hat uns aber nicht weiter gestört.

Das Personal war immer sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Uns wurde ebenfalls ein Fahrer empfohlen mit dem wir sehr glücklich und zufrieden waren. Das Essen war meiner Meinung nach sehr lecker, und vor allem für einen guten Preis. Der Frühstück war typ buffet und hat uns sehr gut geschmäckt. Wir hatten ein sehr großes und helles Zimmer. Mit Blick in die Richtung Ella Rock. Man konnte ständig Affen, verschiedene Vogel und Eichhörnchen vom Zimmer sehen. Wir haben sogar mit Dollars bezahlen können.
