Cozy Resort Ella

Absolutely fantastic accommodation where I took my yoga retreat group. We spent 3 nights and loved it! Breathtaking views, SUPERB staff who were extremely friendly and helpful and clean and spacious rooms. Also - there is a brilliant shaded rooftop for morning yoga classes/practice overlooking the mountains. Will absolutely come again!

Het uitzicht en het personeel!

Laat je niet misleiden door de foto’s die geven een totaal verkeerd beeld. Het hotel ligt behoorlijk afgelegen. Hoewel je dat op de kaart kunt zien, is er ter plekke totaal geen sfeer of gezelligheid te vinden. De kamers zijn extreem gehorig; we hoorden continu honden blaffen, wat erg storend was. De minibar waarvan we hoopten dat er op z’n minst een colaatje in zou staan was helemaal leeg. Misschien heeft dat met het laagseizoen te maken? We hadden al gelezen dat het ontbijt niet veel voorstelde, en dat bleek helaas te kloppen. Er waren producten over de houdbaarheidsdatum, en toen ik een blik in de keuken wierp, zag ik dat de scrambled eggs al klaarstonden waardoor we dus koude eieren geserveerd kregen. Het personeel was overigens wél erg vriendelijk, maar dat is gelukkig op veel plekken zo. We hadden meerdere nachten geboekt, maar na één nacht zijn we vertrokken.

Great views from the room

We arrived to this hotel after leaving another one as it was lacking AC. It was quite late and the stuff contacted us right after we booked online. The amenities were from superior category, giant bed, very big room. We had to leave before breakfast time started, at 8:30am and they prepared some food for us. Very thankful

For a 1 night stay is far from the main street and the train station. Do not consider walk from or to it. If you’re considering a 2-3 night stay to do some trekkings around, then this is your place.

Stunning views and a peaceful escape from the bustle of Ella, yet just a short tuk ride or a scenic walk along the train tracks away. The staff were warm and welcoming, breakfast was solid, and stargazing from the balcony was a true highlight.

If you enjoy being a little further away from town, like we do,, then absolutely nothing.

Close to Ella Rock which shortens the hike a lot and train station. Nice views of Ella

Bad smell coming from bathroom, not a practical layout of shower and bath. Had to ask for extra toilet paper.
