Just in city center- can walk from Ubud Market and some restaurants and cafes in the street- yet super duper traffic in the area

Cleaning is not properly done, cockroaches are flying everywhere from the wash room to the room, and bugs and spiders from outside the house. Just a night we stayed in the place due to this incident, and the owner just said “oh we can only spray that” lol. There’s a smelly moist in the washroom and no other things you will see in the washroom except handwash the rest you need to buy. Recommended to stay if your not that kind of freaking out of the insects.

The location was perfect couldn’t have asked for a better place, the staff were so friendly and made us feel very welcome all the time.

We struggled in the evenings to get the wifi in the room working, throughout the day was always fine.

Very well located and the owners are very nice

The owners are nice, it’s a very homely feel I felt very safe the whole time. It’s very clean inside. The rooms are very up to date and the aircon works well. Location is better than you could ask for. The bathroom is clean and modern.

They didn’t clean my room. The one time they did I had to ask. Which also made it awkward to ask for toilet paper or other things. I was there for a total of 8 days so that’s a long time to not have linen or towels changed. The lock to the door was broken so I had to use a bike lock to put through the two handles. The doona blanket doesn’t have a cover on it but asked for a sheet to try make it better.

The Location is excellent. The upper Rooms might be better, but the last room on Groundfloor: Avoid it if you can (unless a full deep cleaning would be done).

Room smelled bad (like a cat had peed), told the Owner its smelling bad but they smiled only. Later I requested a Incent stick but it did not help. Another bad smell came from shower drain that has not been cleaned inside for longer... Aircon was also black inside and the Pillows had mold on it (2 new Pillows are roughly 8€...). Kids were jumping in front of the Room at 8am already. With a bit of dedication and cleaningness, this could be a good stay....

I would like to highlight that the family was very friendly and helpful. The location in my opinion is really good, on the cute Gotama street with lots of cafes but it was quiet, not far from the market, you can walk to rice fields as well. They had all the necessary things AC, towels, soap, even kettle and coffee in the room

I booked the place for very affordable price but a few things could be improved: - The cleanliness was not good, it was still dusty and you could feel the humidity in the bathroom and the weird smell in the room - The bed sheets and pillow cases look very used and not very pleasent - The family has small kids, so you will hear them running around at 7 am. If you sleep until late time, it's definetely not for you. But I paid small price, so the it was worth the value
