Garden and Park Leisure on Tugela

Stayed exactly where we needed, we arrived very late due to a delayed flight yet we were still welcomed warmly. The space is ideal for us and thankfully we had a gas fire as it was really cold. We had tea making facilities and milk which was brilliant and thoughtful, as well as rusks which was a lovely thought. The main bedroom us a fantastic size. We felt very safe with locked parking and access.

Harsh to put anything in this section. There was a couple of niggles, a leak from the toilet (clean water) that meant we constantly changed the mats and the washing machine leaked. But we didn't raise these until we left and I have no doubt they'll be fixed. The second bedroom is quite small although cozy.

The host was very welcoming. We were provided with a heater because it was cold, this was a very kind gesture. We enjoyed our stay 100%.

Clean and it felt like home

The only thing I enjoyed was having running water being from lower KZN, can't think of anything "nice" for the price of this accommodation!!

So,, where do I begin!! At almost R800 per night, you would expect alot more! The owner (Thembi) is ridiculously RUDE! I had a week of golf turning professional, and in the afternoon it was impossible to have some peace and quite for a short nap. From babies crying and pots and pans banging and people shouting it was impossible. Even with NUMEROUS messages to her asking NICELY to please keep it down in their home which is only a DOOR separating the two places it never happened. She just ignores my messages and then still sends me a RUDE message accusing me of something I never did. Was her way of retaliating I guess! And it's DISGUSTING! NO WAY TO TREAT GUESTS! I WILL NEVER EVER SUPPORT THEM AGAIN!

WiFi internet was available. Description should be changed to reflect this.

Staff were very helpful and accommodating, Thembi was an awesome host.

The rooms were not serviced.
