Super cozy, clean, and with absolutely stunning views. The host was incredibly kind and helpful — he assisted with delivery, treated me to breakfast, and made me feel truly welcome. You can really feel the care and attention to detail. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Our worst stay in Sri Lanka. The staff is not helpful. The room we stayed were unclean. Full of cockroaches and bugs. When we mentioned this to the staff they didn't even apologize and said if you would have booked directly I would have given you better room. We have 26 rooms out of which 3 are given to online stay. Not recommending this place to anyone. The only good thing about the hotel is the breakfast which we enjoyed. Before booking make sure you ask for the room picture and query other things. Hotel is located around 2km from City Centre in a quiet area but you can easilly go there with tuk tuk for 2 dollars. Staff is very nice, polite and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Beautiful views from the balcony. Fresh and tasteful breakfest. Overall, great value for money.

You feel like you are walking on the side of the road- you hear traffic very clearly from the room. Location is up a steep(ish) mountain, but on the good side it is out if the city and you get the views!

There were animals in the room! They came through the roof. It was dirty. The sheets were not washed and everything was so so so dirty!

We stayed in the double room with balcony which was on ground level for 2 nights. The view is not as you see in the photos online but we did not mind. Host is welcoming and friendly. We were offered to stay in other rooms on arrival for a rise in price. Location wise - hotel is approx 5 min ride uphill from Ella town but we had our tuktuk so it was no problem. The room was spacious and had drying racks which was useful. Air conditioning in room is sufficient. Breakfast was lovely, view from breakfast area is lovely. Very nice and busy resturanunt across the road.

Noise: The room is not sound proof. You can hear traffic on the road outside at night and early morning - So would not recommmend if you are a light sleeper. On our last night we were woken multiple times at 2am and 3am with lots of screeching, banging and loud noises - from birds/animals possibly outside which was not ideal and made us uneasy. We also had 2 frogs in the bathroom, but they disappeared. It wasn't a problem. Bet net : Has multipile holes in it which is in need of replacing. We did not get mosquito bites because of it so it was okay.
