Everything I suggest booking the deluxe room to appreciate the lovely views. Although these can also be seen from the shared terrace.

The view from the hotel was pretty and just in front of the hotel there was a very nice and cheap restaurant.

For me the internet connection was not so good but I would still recommend the place.

Beautiful jungle view and comfortable beds with mosquito nets. The owner is very friendly. We accidentally booked the property for 1 Adult (we meant to book for 2). He still gave it to us for the price of booking. We rented a scooter as it made it a lot easier to get around Ella on our own schedule. It is a fair walk up and down to the center so it’s worth getting a scooter and it can get quite foggy at night. The wifi is good from the common eating area but can be very bad in the rooms. If you don’t want to hike to the city for dinner or lunch or breakfast there is a nice restaurant near by that opens at 7.30am.

My room was on the ground floor just next to the reception and the road to the hotel so it was loud and I often woke up early by tuktuks or other sounds from outside. The view from the room was not so great compared to the rooms a bit higher up in the building, which is sad when you book the room mainly for the view. I tried changing but was only offered other rooms on the same floor.

We had a comfortable bed with mosquito net. The owner was very nice and gave us a free room upgrade!

There were many ants in the bathroom.
