Ella Travel Rest Inn

Very peaceful and serene feeling. Close to main street. Comfortable bed and large bathroom. Overall, we enjoyed our few days here.

No staff around - that was a bit weird. And the bathroom must have had a plumbing issue because there was a strong smell of urine at points.

Travel Rest Inn is a peaceful gem in the heart of Ella. Surrounded by lush greenery and birdsong, it’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy nature. The location is ideal — just a short walk to the main street, Ella Rock, and other attractions. A lovely place to unwind and take in the beauty of the hills!

Great last minute booking, the owner was really lovely and easy to contact. The beds were very comfortable and room was clean. Awesome location from the main road about a 5 min walk.

Wifi wasn’t great but had enough to send and receive messages.

Great stay for 2 nights. Just a little bit away from the main road in Ella means it's more quiet. Bed was comfortable and the room was a good size. The breakfast was really good - you get some cake to go with your tea or coffee, followed by a big plate of fruit and then toast and eggs cooked to your liking. The owner was a nice friendly and we would definitely stay here again.

WiFi worked for the whole stay but was a bit slow at around 2-3 mbps, but it wasn't really a problem for us.

Location is quiet but can reach the main road with just few minute walks. The most I like is the bed, is really comfy, two pillows for one person and also thick blanket.

Have no street light so the road is really dark at night, but you might get lucky and see the fireflies
