The location was very peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle. The staff were super friendly and did us amazing big breakfasts, best in Sri Lanka!

Most reviews I read, focussed on the location of this hotel and I can see why. Location is great. Really close to the restaurants and all the action but also a quiet haven in a tranquil part of town. Good to know: if you don't feel like going to Main Street, there is a great restaurant nearby: grandma's kitchen. We had a great stay in this hotel. It is a small family-run place. Owner is really, really friendly and helpful. We had some pretty challenging requests and he met them all. Nice view: our room had a little balcony that overlooked the road, but also some gardens. We saw all kinds of songbirds and squirrels. Room was nice and clean, shower was good and I liked the fact that they had placed several potted plants throughout the building and in the room. Nice touch, that.

The room we stayed in could use some TLC, but aside from that: nothing to report here.

Amazing breakfast, excellent location just outside the main town meaning it was nice and quiet. About 10 minutes walk from the train station. Nice clean rooms.

Wifi kept dropping out, but that seems to be the case everywhere we've stayed.

I stayed only for one day, but it was a decent stay. Location is very ideal, and place is bit uphill, which makes it even more attractive being surrounded by lush green trees. The best part was breakfast, very cheap, healthy and good quantity. I booked a budget room which was worth the money as it has all the amenities necessary.

The room was clean and comfortable. Nice location, only 3 mins to walk to town center, but still nice sleeping in the forest. Breakfast was perfect? but we have been waiting for omelette more about 40 mins, I suggest you serve first eggs and bread, after desert and fruits. It was delicious anyway.
