Thilak Home Stay

The lovely greeting from Nidu as we arrived. Our room was on ground level, very spacious, great hot shower and really comfy bed and pillows. The location was superb being right in the heart of Hampi Bazaar. Lots of good local restaurants and cafes and some lovely craft shops. There is a wonderful community feel about this area. We had the most wonderful Tuktuk driver called Shiva who we hired for 3 full days and he was the best!! So informative, great knowledge and showed us how truly amazing Hampi and its landscapes are. He also picked us up and dropped us off at the bus station. We highly recommend Thilak homestay and Shiva and when we return we will stay here 😁

Nothing, everything was brilliant

The host Kish was extremely helpful and friendly. He can answer any questions you have and help plan an amazing trip. We also really liked Durga (he picked us up from Hospet railway station). The location is probably the best you can possibly get in hampi as you are walking distance to the main temple.

Wonderful people and beautiful homestay - I felt at home at Kish's homestay and it was an incredible experience.

Deux points particulièrement : d'abord la situation au coeur du village de Hampi, mais surtout la qualité de service du gérant et de son frère. Ils sont disponibles, attentionnés et aidant et nous ont aidés à organiser nos visites à Hampi. Kish nous a permis de visiter Badami sur une excursion à la journée et nous a réservé les billets de bus pour Gokarna. Il m'a aussi aidé sans aucune obligation de sa part à régler un échange de sac de voyage alors que nous étions à l'étape suivante. Le rooftop est appréciable, la propreté irréprochable.

La petite ville est bruyante et la disposition des pièces de toutes les guesthouses fait structurellement caisse de résonance. L'eau chaude est aléatoire (bienvenue en Inde). Il manque en fait surtout d'un endroit où poser ses affaires dans la chambre. C'est vraiment dérisoire par rapport à la qualité du service et de l'emplacement.

The property’s roof top terrace made the difference with great views of the main temple and was a good area to meet friends.

The bed was a little hard, but it was still comfortable.
