De Paris à Kandy

I was provided a packed lunch for my travel. The couple were so cordial. I missed swimming as I was not prepared for it. They have a beautiful pool and roof top to hang out.

A very comfortable and nice stay, on a little hill in peradeniya, very close to the botanic garden, and the university. I absolutely loved the breakfast that Alex prepared every morning, it's delicious and nutritious and varied every day. The hosts, Michael and Alex, and Maia their daughter, are very friendly. They are very eco-conscious, it's inspiring to see them use organic food, and serve drinks and water in glass bottles, etc. From the little details you can tell that this house is made from wonderful heart. In the yard, there is also a very nice swimming pool, and around sunset the big bats (as large as a big eagle!) from the botanic garden would fly near, and it's quite amazing to see. It's a place of comfort, peace and quiet to return to after a day's travel and sightseeing around Kandy. Take a swim in the pool, have a nice hot shower, and drink the ice tea made by the host provided for free, and have a wonderful night of sleep.

What a great place! Very nice house with a nice atmosphere. Alexandra & Michael gave us the warmest welcome, we really felt at home. There is a great view of the mountains from the swimming pool. The room was super clean and the breakfast delicious! Would definitely recommend this B&B!

We were welcomed warmly and the place was absolutely clean as expected. We were also served an outstanding breakfast which we cannot commend enough. It was a comfortable stay for 1 night.

Everything was fine ! The place is located on a bit of a steep hill and our vehicle being a small car could not quite pull up the hill until Michael kindly gave it a push and we made it to the top 😄

Really great stay. Modern cosy house with French charm. The room is very clean and comfortable - everything is left to chance. The couple who run the property are nice, friendly and attentive - here you feel that you are really welcome guest. Delicious breakfast!

We had an amazing 3 nights at Michael and Alex's homestay. I would highly recommend it. The views are incredible, the swimming pool was a very welcome cool down. You are only a short walk to shops, restaurants and the Botanical Gardens. Fab breakfasts too!

Michael and Alexandra were very friendly and were attentive to all my needs. Alexandra is a very good cook and the breakfast was very good.

There was nothing that dissatisfied me during my stay.

Our stay at De Paris a Kandy was wonderful. The hotel is like a bed & breakfast situated in a beautiful, modern and spacious home. The hosts, Michele and Alexandra, were so kind and welcoming to our family. The breakfasts were a real treat and prepared very fresh and the rooms and bathrooms were well equipped, clean and perfect for our family. The A/C worked well and there was a nice pool we used, as well as several outdoor and common areas. The location is close to the botanical gardens and about a 10-15 minute tuk-tuk ride from the center of Kandy (still close enough to order take-out or delivery!).
