Lady Gordons Homestay

Near to town, 500m uphill walk but no problem. Many good restaurants in town, every day a food adventure. I loved seeing the monkeys playing while having my morning coffee on the balcony, seeing the birds and chipmunks scrambling around.

Very spacious and comfortable accommodation. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Quiet location but not far from central Kandy. Good breakfast available . All in all a very pleasant stay and good value for money.

I should say they did the really good job by maintaining such a place, owner is really nice and helping... room is spacious and clean, Also there is a kitchen which is very usefull... Beautiful common area and my room had a nice view also

I've stayed here 3 times before and wouldn't stay anywhere else in Kandy. Clean, comfortable and run by a lovely family. It's in a great spot, near to town and in an area where you get a feel for real Sri Lanka community .. not just tourists ☺️ would never have any hesitation in recommending and value for money is exceptional.

Fantastic hosts, tones of important tips where and when to go and what to see. Spacious apartment, very clean, hot water, kitchen, tea coffee accessible. Quiet location. Nice old, colonial furniture.

Small challenge with signs of how to get to the place. Host sends photo, but the house is not marked at all, so can be confusing. Look for the yellow Beatle VW car and a stick of trip Advisor on the window.
