It’s a fabulous place to have a serene and quiet vacation if you’re not up for the hustle & bustle of the city. Jack, the owner of the home stay is an amazing guy with ever smiling and helping presence. The breakfast is quite good, the view is magical.

It’s 9 km away from all the major attractions which is almost a 20-30 mins drive depending on the road conditions. One who choose to stay here should consider the taxi fare to and from the homestay which can turn out to be a bit on the expensive side. Though it’s not the hotels fault, just a heads up for whoever find this info helpful.

such a cozy place! Jack and his colleagues were very kind and helpful. Food on site was great and so was pizza from Pavi Garden (their sister business). They had very friendly dogs and cats so wonderful for animal lovers. Peaceful and great to take walks to the neighbourhoods nearby.

note that there’s some contruction going on at the moment so some noise (only in the day), and sometimes the hot water ran out so had to wait abit between showers

The views at Pavihome are outstanding. The place is 11km outside Sapa and it’s worth staying for the views alone. Jack our host went out of his way to make us feel welcome. He cooked each night and the food exceeded expectations. During our 4 night stay we had a BBQ cooked down by our room and a really good hotpot. The only criticism was the amount of food. Both were excellent. Jack also makes excellent fried spring rolls. Breakfast was good too. The room suited our needs, a good shower, comfortable bed and air conditioning. Trecks are offered and we took the opportunity to do one. Walking through paddy fields with lots of water buffaloes. Our guide was knowledgeable and spoke good English.

Beautiful, peacful location located a bit outside Sapa. You can feel like home, feel the nature and beautiful sights of mountines. Jack and his family took exceptional care of us, arranging car, scooter, food and advising about what we needed. We could even take a sleep in another room as we arrived very early. Breakfast and dinner prepared by Jack was perfect.

Great place with a stunning view of the valley. Jack, the owner, was very helpful and accommodating (and a great cook - the food was excellent!). Only downside was the construction work next door (see below)

A new homestay is in the early stages of construction directly next door, including power tools. This was from earlier than 7pm to 5pm. Not the owner’s fault of course and nothing he can do about it, but if you are looking to spend a lot of time at the homestay relaxing in front of the beautiful view, you should know about this. For us, the noise did somewhat ruin the peaceful vibe of the place.

The best selling point of this property is the view and simplicity. Food was good too! The traditional red bath was also the highlight of this hotel!

Needs proper ventilation of the bathroom affer shower.
