Hoa's homestay Sapa

Everything was perfect! Hoa, Hyup, Happy and the staff are all lovely! The place is clean, the food is delicious and plentiful and the view is amazing! It's close enough to the city but far enough where you can enjoy the peace and quiet. I recommend their homestay to anyone thinking of going to Sapa!

Excellent location and the host. Green mountains and rice field, beautiful sceneries all around the accommodation. The host was very friendly and supportive.

Traffic sound but that was not affecting the sleep.

I had a lovely stay at this homestay. Hoa is such a kind, welcoming, and helpful host. I felt right at home. The place is comfortable and spacious, and I really enjoyed the trekking tour. The meals were very tasty as well (the family dinner was one of the best meals I've had in Vietnam) and it was fun to participate with the family/group. Everyone was so friendly with me and I felt they would help me with whatever I needed. I also appreciated the motorbike rental. Overall this is a great place to stay (just be prepared for the distance from Sapa town, but Hoa was helpful in giving instructions on how to get to/from the homestay, and also provided a ride at the end of my stay). Staying here also allows you to get a more authentic experience of how the local people live, in the countryside.

I loved Hoa’s Homestay! The host is the nicest and helps you out with everything you need. The breakfast is amazing and so is the dinner (I recommend the omelet with rice) If you’re enough people they make familie dinner. I stayed in the dorm and the bed is really comfy. The showers had hot water. They organized a trekking tour and it was wonderful! The location at the Homestay is beautiful with rice fields all over and some really charming restaurants. I recommend the Sailing Sapa resturant and to do the workshop at Pavo Garden (the pizza is one of the best I ever tasted) Overall I’m really happy with my stay🙌🏼

The location was the draw for me and after reading the reviews was happy to experience the social friendly vibes.

Unfortunately the privates rooms are not just basic but have a horrible mildew smell. It was suffocating when I first checked in. I kept the door and window open except for when I had to sleep. The smell even followed on my pillowcase after leaving. Personally if any reviews had relayed how staunch the mildew was I may have decided on a different place.

The homestay was okay, the private rooms were quite easy furnished and it is 25min from the Sapa citycenter away by Taxi (250k VDN) with a nice view of rice terasses. Other than that, the family dinner was super nice. You dine with other backpackers and there is plenty of food! We did a trekking tour, organized by Hoa's Homestay and it was really adventurous, but we would have wished that the guide tells us more about the ethnical minorities and the way of living there.
