The staff were nice

The walls were moldy and the room was stinky because of the mold. The toilets made rumbling sounds every couple of minutes and were also stinky. More over the room was full of bugs as were our sheets. The room was so smelly due to the mold I got an headache.

Really comfy beds 👍 The hospitality was great, nothing was uncomfortable or lacking. Would recommend!

The staff were super friendly and helpful! The lobby has a beautiful view of the mountains and the facilities were good. The location is super convenient as well!

Everything! The room/studio was amazing and the best views. Staff was lovely! Good food too.

The only thing we would improve is to include a mop on the toilet to keep the floor dry and clean but that's it :) sure if we asked for it they would have provided us with one.

Maybe the best service I've ever gotten in a hotel. They went far and beyond to help us out. For example helping us order smoked and dried waterbuffalo. You can find it anywhere but we needed it vacuum sealed for the flight back. Not only did they help us order it, they also told us about the different qualities and origins of the meat. So that we could decide wether we wanted chinese import or local high quality waterbuffalo. They also told us exte simply about the best things to do in the area. From medicinal baths in villages to waterfalls that I have never even heard about before. Plus we got 2 room upgrades, 1 from booking.com and 1 on arrival because "it is available"...I have never gotten an upgrade simply because "it is available". Service, I think that's the 1 defining factor between big chains and family run hotels. The room was great. We had the duplex room with 3 beds. Food is very tasty and good price if you consider the massive portions you get.

Our room on the second floor, above is the restaurant operating so in the night time it was noisy. Drag the table and chairs until midnight. Then we can sleep. But all the rest is good.

When we arrived, we were told that our room was not available but has been upgraded to a top level room in the next hotel building - I think there's actually no difference between the two buildings... Our host (Hai) was very polite and always willing to help, we are very grateful for him during our stay at Sapa. He can organise nearly anything for you (laundry - which they charged VND50k/kg, bike hire - which we didn't take on and help you hail transport). Overall, a very nice stay!

While the view is very good from this location, it is an approx 12-15min walk to the city centre. Electric cab to Sapa station is VND50k and to Sapa Bus Stations is VND80k. We usually took the electric cab out and slowly walk back.
