Ons verblijf bij Tangkoko Ranger Homestay was zonder twijfel één van de hoogtepunten van onze reis door Noord-Sulawesi. De locatie is werkelijk perfect: recht tegenover de ingang van het Tangkoko Nationaal Park en op slechts vijf minuten lopen van de zee. Je wordt hier wakker met de geluiden van de jungle en valt ’s avonds in slaap met het gevoel midden in de natuur te verblijven. Wij verbleven in een mooi, schoon en comfortabel huisje dat van alle gemakken was voorzien. Alles wat je nodig hebt voor een ontspannen verblijf is aanwezig. Het ontbijt was elke ochtend goed verzorgd en werd met veel gastvrijheid geserveerd door de ontzettend lieve eigenaren. Direct tegenover de homestay bevindt zich een restaurant waar je heerlijk kunt eten. Na een lange wandeling door de jungle is dat een groot pluspunt. Het absolute hoogtepunt was onze excursie met gids Alfred. Dankzij zijn enorme kennis, scherpe ogen en vriendelijke persoonlijkheid hebben we fantastische dieren kunnen zien die we zelf nooit zouden hebben ontdekt. Zijn enthousiasme voor de natuur werkt aanstekelijk en maakte de ervaring nog specialer. Alfred, ontzettend bedankt voor deze onvergetelijke momenten! Voor iedereen die Tangkoko wil bezoeken kunnen wij deze homestay van harte aanbevelen. Een prachtige locatie, vriendelijke mensen, goed ontbijt, comfortabele accommodatie en een geweldige uitvalsbasis om één van de mooiste natuurgebieden van Indonesië te ontdekken. Wij zouden zonder twijfel terugkomen! 🌴🐒🦜🌿
