Homestay with good home cooked food

The location - not easy to get to or in and out of. The window in the room did not close properly and allowed mosquitoes which were a problem. No view to the garden which was advertised. Building work was going on and was noisy, taxi cost was overpriced compared to other hotels for the same distance.

Friendly host and room was clean

Unfortunately we arrived at Mothers Inn Homestay only to find substantial refurbishment underway. What was most disappointing was that we were not informed of this before our arrival. The room we had requested did not have its balcony in use due to construction work so we chose a standard room. Despite the lack of communication to us about the building site situation we were charged full price for the room we had. Throughout the day construction work was extremely noisy. During the evening staff and other people could clearly be heard from the room, ear plugs were essential. There was no hot water in the evenings.

Lovely Homestay, Surya and his team were so helpful and looked after us. Good location. Lovely keralean breakfast but can also provide omelettes, toast etc. Surya gave us lots of info about local area and good restaurants. Our room, with four poster bed was perfect.

The house is a little tucked away from the center but easy 10min walk to Princess street for restaurants and the beach is close by too

Centre of Fort Kochi but very quiet. Really comfortable bed and great shower. Everyone is so helpful and kind.
