Easy door access

It is in a central location in downtown Fairbanks, Alaska. It was walking distance to everything. The owners keep the whole property immaculate and well stocked. No one will bother you here. It’s safe and secure.

The small fridge under the counter is a little noisy but I got used to it. Not a major issue because it works fine.

The host was very quick to respond, and they explained things in an easy to understand way. The house was very cute, the cutest part being the electric fireplace which was perfect to warm up in front of after being out. The washer and dryer were very helpful and appreciated.

The T.V's connection to the network would stop working randomly, but we were only home at night so it wasn't that big of an issue.

The shower made a loud hissing noise. The refrigerator was also very loud.

Great value for the price, very comfortable, lots of amenities, and nice hosts.

Great location, nicely decorated and very comfortable. I would love to come back. We never got the chance to experience the sauna because I was working and my son was at a sports event, but this would be a great spot for a romantic getaway, see the northern lights at the sauna...

There were a few negative things encountered that I listed in a review to the owner, as requested (from an owner message) via a text message, but I never got a response even after asking a second time. My intent was to avoid putting them down on the actual review because they are all easily fixed and don't need to be on the permanent record, but given that I don't think the messaging worked (possibly stopped working automatically after I checked out rather than I was being ignored) I'll list them here while also leaving a very positive review! Internet - too patchy to hold a conference call. I had to use my phone as a hotspot whenever I cared about the call I was on. I reached out through booking.com the first day and someone changed something to improve things but overall I still found it unusable for something like a conference call. Watching a movie in the evening there was no issue - likely because these can buffer and smooth over the times it flakes out. But buffering can't fix anything that happens in real time like a conversation. I think this was the biggest issue I found that I'd want to make sure was fixed before trying to work here again - likely it wouldn't matter that much to anyone else. Desk in room - a really nice feature which I used as a office desk but found to be about 6" too high for comfortable use (I realize it is probably a makeup table and I'm not using it as designed!) A practical suggestion would be to add a keyboard / mouse tray - the center support would need to be replaced with 2x (one at each side of the tray) then the desk could be used for both an office and makeup. TV - was already logged in to multiple streaming accounts locked with PIN numbers so we could not change them. I plugged my laptop in to watch a movie which worked for us in the evening. Maybe the TV just needs to be checked by the cleaner and reset if the last customer leaves locked accounts...

It was clean, warm, and parking was right in front with easy connection to our rental car to keep it warm.

Comfortable and cozy accommodation, friendly staff, close to city center by walk. Everything is just fine!

The stairwell is slightly narrow. The soundproofing is not quite good.
