Dances Bay

I wanted to attend a wedding in Elizabeth City, but after all the recent horror stories I don't trust hotels anymore AT ALL. Luckily, I found this absolute gem. We stayed in the king room on the top floor of the home, which had a comfortable bed, large bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub and separate shower, big walk-in closet, and a large window with an awesome view of the river. Sandro, Zeus, and everyone else we met there were relaxed and friendly, and one had the option of socializing in the kitchen and patio areas or finding a semi-private nook in which to relax. There is also a deck with a sliding door right outside the room where we kicked back and watched the sunset. I highly recommend this eclectic home for your stay in the Elizabeth City area.

We had no problems at all. I only wish we had more time to enjoy the accommodations!

Not much. I enjoyed mostly if not majority of all the nights I stayed.

The owner and his big ol’ cane corso, the fireworks were beautiful.
