Dances Bay

Our room and bathroom were very large and very clean. The lighting in the room was too dim to read so we watched tv. Nice big tv with streaming services and a large couch to sit on. The view of the lake was nice.

The listing wasn’t very descriptive. It’s a home, with 3 rooms for rent on the second floor. Ours had two entry doors: one from the hall and one from the deck. They were lockable and we were given the key, but the door frames were so worn that the locks didn’t secure them. When locked, we could still push the doors open. The only way to secure our belongings, when we left to get dinner, would have been to move everything back out to our car. The property’s location is way outside of town, down a long, winding road. We arrived at night and the place was very hard to find. It’s set back quite a way from the road and there are no lights along the road. There is no roadside sign to indicate you’ve arrived, just a mailbox with the house number in it. Nothing indicates this is the rooming house you’re looking for!

The bed is super comfortable. Beautiful view and excellent bathroom. This is a really nice room.

Although I did not use it all, I loved the technology - the TV, the lights, the fan, the adjustable bed, the toilet, the shower....

The room was spacious and comfortable, the coffee station was right outside our door for morning coffee, the sunset view was awesome , lots of amenities , and I wish we had more time to use them. The host was great and very welcoming.

Honestly no complaints, I would suggest a larger trash bin in the room area or at the coffee station. Minor issue for sure
