Highly recommend staying at Sapa Hmong Bungalow Homestay. The communication before arrival was excellent and I had help organizing transport from the train station. The accommodation is beautiful and has everything you need, including heated blankets if it’s cold. The food was fantastic. I loved the family style dinner where you could interact with some of the other guests and speak to Ashua and learn about the Hmong culture. If you have the time definitely do the bamboo trekking! It was very fun and also very informative. Absolutely stunning scenery. This stay was truly unique and special and I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Non ci sono parole per descrivere l’esperienza vissuta. A 20 minuti da Sapa centro in un posto magico con una vista meravigliosa sulle risaie. Questa famiglia ci ha accolto splendidamente, la cosa importante é che parlano inglese e quindi abbiamo potuto capire tantissime cose della loro cultura e della cultura hamong. Organizzano questi trekking con le poche persone dell’homestay davvero unici ed interessanti, purtroppo causa maltempo ne abbiamo potuto fare solo uno quello nella foresta di bambù che è stato meraviglioso, con il figlio del proprietario che ci ha raccontato tanto di loro e delle varie comunità. Tra l’altro causa piogge dei giorni precedenti ci hanno fornito degli stivali di gomma e mi ha aiutato tanto perché un po si scivolava. La sera abbiamo cenato con loro ed è stato straordinario entrare così tanto nella loro famiglia. Inoltre il fratello del proprietario, un ragazzo gentilissimo e tanto affidabile, ha un taxi grab ed è come avere un taxi privato a disposizione per muoversi, è stato sempre disponibile e ci ha accompagnato e ripreso ovunque. Le camere sono bellissime e pulite!!. Unica cosa che posso segnalare è che la nostra camera, ma credo fosse l’unica così, ha delle finestrelle piccole in alto aperte quindi faceva parecchio freddo ma ora é anche inverno, con la coperta riscaldata e una maglia in più è andato tutto bene. Ho amato questa famiglia, ho amato i loro racconti, le colazioni tipiche e la cena insieme a loro e davvero lo consiglio se volete vedere uno spaccato reale di questa meravigliosa cultura hamong oltre che mangiare divinamente.

Lovely view, clean. Yummy pho breakfast with option for pancakes. We had dinner with the family which was delicious and also very fun. Sa took us trekking and we learned a lot. Nice coffee shops and restaurants nearby and a short walk to the waterfall.

The bathroom tiles are very slippery when wet and not suitable for somebody with reduced mobility. Maybe a bathmat would help.

We had a fabulous time at this homestay, the room was clean with an excellent view. We enjoyed trekking with the family and also loved the dinner and breakfast! The best Pho we have had in Vietnam! Thank you.

Tolle Gastgeber, grandiose Aussicht über Reisterassen bis ins Tal. Die Lage ist fantastisch zum Wandern, der Gastgeber bietet selbst auch Touren an. Selbige werden von der Tochter des Hauses geguided - tolle Wanderungen zu einem fairen Preis..... unbedingt empfehlenswert! Nur wenige Schritte von der Unterkunft entfernt, befindet sich ein gut sortierter Supermarkt. Authentisches Homestay mit Familienanschluss..... wenns gewünscht wird.

Die Fliesen im Bad und auf der Terrasse sind bei Feuchtigkeit sehr rutschig. Ist keine grosse Sache, sollte aber beachtet werden. Ich persönlich fand die Matratze zu hart, habe deshalb eine extra Decke als Topper bekommen..... Danke dafür!

Die Familie war sehr lieb und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker & wir haben einmal zusammen mit ihnen Abend gegessen und das war auch sehr gut. Der Blick vom Zimmer auf die Reisterrassen ist unglaublich. Das Zimmer war sehr gemütlich und sauber. Wir haben außerdem eine Wanderung mit der Tochter gemacht und die ist auch sehr zu empfehlen. Sie haben uns auch ein Taxi organisiert, um in die Stadt zu kommen und zum Abschied haben sie uns ein kleines Geschenk gemacht! Die Familie war sehr herzlich & wir würden definitiv wiederkommen!!

If you’re wanting more of a quiet, serene and traditional experience during your time in Sa Pa - this is your stay! The hosts are a Hmong family who are so so lovely and can’t do enough to make your stay incredible. Breakfast is included and you have the option to eat with the family for dinner… we highly recommend this as the food is delicious and grown in their own garden/rice paddy. Cang took us on a trek, and the views were just stunning - it was such a highlight. The bungalows are pristine, and the view that you wake up to is like no other. By far one of the best things we’ve done in Vietnam!
