Spacious house with beautiful golf course & dam view

Having no power as inverter was small Cleaners did not clean some areas like the dining and sitting areas Braai place made a lot of smoke

The property was beautifully designed,clean and spacious👌🏼. It met a traveller’s expectations.

The comfortable beds, fireplace and big bathrooms.

Location

The house is very nice,opposite the dam and very cold. On booking.com it states that they have electric blankets but they dont have. On the day of arrival we got a message notifying us that area is cold and we must bring extra blankets. Surely they can keep extra blankets for guests. Flying with extra blankets was not ideal. On arrival there was no electricity,Eskom fault in the area. It was extremely cold and starting fire takes time. The following day we demanded to be moved to another property. They agreed and no extra cost. The whole experience was horrible and something you dont want when on holiday. The bedding not that great,upgrade needed.

It is a great house and in an excellent location. We have stayed before and have booked in December

We have stayed here and in other Gowrie properties. Unfortunately this time there was no inverter and the power went out at 9 for two hours. When we stayed before there was an inverter. We were not told there would not be one and would have bought lights etc. they also must fix the whole Fireplace set up with the hole that goes through above the fire place . It is drafty and looks bad and lest the rest of the house down.
