Singay is a great host. He can arrange transport and store your luggage if you're going on a multi-day hike. He'll try to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Since we were there at the end of October, it was quite chilly but he happily provided us each day with hot water bottles. Also his wife can make you a nice breakfast.

The place is very nice and the women working there are very kind and and welcoming. The guesthouse is not in center of Leh, it takes about 20min walking, so it is good for who is looking for a chill place with a nice view.

It’s on a dead end road so there is hardly any traffic and remains quiet through the day. Location is convenient but not in the center of the chaos. The owner is helpful and the young woman working is kind friendly and honest.

I wish there were signs up encouraging water conservation. I was sharing the public toilet/shower with some other foreigners and they needed to shower twice a day at least. And unfortunately their constant cigarette smoking came into my room. This isn’t so much about the property but maybe help the environment of Ladakh and comfort of other guests they don’t like cigarettes.
