A perfect Balinese experience= Jero Ratna Homestay! Walking distance from the market , palace and Saraswati temple. Lovely neighbourhood.. and super super warm welcoming hosts. Mr. Agung and family are the most lovely hosts. I'm booking with them again. I miss that place already.

I LOVED EVERYTHING!

The property was extremely clean! Everything was really close and walkable! Angung drove me, after request, wherever I asked for, and it felt really safe to choose go around with him, instead of random drivers. Definitely value for money, especially if you wanna come closer to the Balinese way of leaving! The owners included us in their family celebration for Galungan at their temple! Angung and Ratna were very friendly and welcoming! Breakfast was excellent, made with love! 100% recommended!

So grateful to have been so well looked after by Mr Agung, Ratna and their family. The room was very clean and comfortable in a central location, and they provided a delicious breakfast with great coffee every morning. I had as much privacy as I wanted while simultaneously feeling very secure and well supported, which was particularly important to me, being new to solo overseas travel. Mr Agung also provides fabulous tour and transport services, which allowed me to experience higlights of Ubud and surrounds in a limited space of time. I highly recommend their homestay as quality accommodation, and even moreso, as an opportunity to connect with gracious and knowledgeable local people!

This is a terrific place to stay at a very reasonable price. The location is ideal as others have described - close to the center of Ubud but very quiet and peaceful. The host is fabulous - gracious and attentive, and happy to talk about his family and community for travelers interested in learning about Balinese culture. He will also provide or arrange car transportation, including as our driver on a memorable tour that included some wonderful places to visit. The room is very clean, modern and comfortable. Banana pancakes were a daily treat as our choice among breakfast options. My wife and I cannot recommend this homestay highly enough.
