Everybody was super helpful and nice, an authentic homestay with everything you need for a pleasant holiday. Breakfast was really good too!

The shower sink was getting blocked every now and then, but it was no major issue

For the comfort, hospitality, location and yummy breakfast,this place is a steal. Agung & his wife were the sweetest and we were always greeted with smiles from the family everyday we left the apartment. We wanted to stay somewhere central and close to the attractions and this place was perfect. Walking distance to hikes, the palace, food, attractions. When we arrived, Agung was happy to share recommendations and we were lucky to catch the kecak performance in the temple across his place. He was very flexible with the motorbike renting since it was constantly raining. Agung also helped us to book a driver (with a very last min request & reasonably priced) and we were out and about in 20mins! He also helped us bring our clothes for laundry which was very much appreciated. The room was nice and cozy. Bed was firm and we had a good rest over the 3 nights. Shower was strong. There is also water refill provided. There are only 2 rooms available so there’s a lot of privacy and i felt really safe. Breakfast is served outside and you can have a great view while eating. Part of our plans were ruined due to the rain but Agung’s help made the trip better. I would highly recommend this place to stay!

Not what i didn’t like but probably something for others to note: The place is along a gentle slope which is easily doable - we walked up and down many times in the rain. The road is not the brightest but i’ve seen a few solo female travellers walking on the road since there are other home stays around.

Extremely welcoming and kind hosts. Stayed on the family compound with a cutie doggie and rooster to greet me when I came home everyday. I had the first room which was very cozy clean and bright with a phenomenal view. Breakfast pancakes were my favourite every morning! Highly recommend. Matur suksma 🙏

The place is slightly uphill, but the location is still fantastic for what you pay for. It can be slightly difficult to navigate the home initially, but once you have done so - this lovely accommodation is worth it! the host (Mr Agung) was a fantastic host that provided everything we needed. Was feeling under the weather during my trip and his lovely wife prepared hot water (in a big jug too!) for my tea. The breakfast felt homey, it felt as if it's prepared by someone at home. The location was fantastic, just a stone throw away for hikes and a slight walk to the city - but regardless everything is accessible by motorbike. Mr Agung also provides services on his own, and it was thoughtful of him to check in with us if we needed any support. The homestay is above Mr Agung and his family, so you'd definitely feel well taken care of. The wifi is fantastic, along with the rooms. Hot showers are available and our room was clean (We even had towels!) Would totally stay again, and recommend this place to my friends.

We left some opened snacks and some ants got to them, but honestly this can happen anywhere in Bali. Dont think it can be helped!
